Hyundai Introduces Customizable Car Themes

Hyundai owners with Bluelink Plus can now add Snoopy or a soccer-playing Atlas to their screens, thanks to the company’s latest customization feature, called Display Themes.

This feature is expanding to more models through the automaker’s Bluelink Store and Bluelink Plus, allowing owners to personalize their cars with various themes, including iconic Peanuts characters and the brand’s historic Hyundai Pony car, which is a fast sedan model.

New themes also feature FIFA’s 2026 World Cup, with soccer-playing Boston Dynamics Atlas II and Spot robots, a fitting tie-in given Hyundai’s major investment in the company.

Most of the themes are free, including the FIFA World Cup 2026 Display Theme, the Hyundai Pony theme, and the Nature theme, which leans on calm visuals and organic elements, similar to a beach buggy experience.

The Peanuts themes are a set of three display designs priced at $25 each, featuring Snoopy Universe, Charlie Brown and Friends, and Road Trip themes. They are lifetime purchases, just like the free themes, and only need to be downloaded to the vehicle once via OTA.

To be able to download the themes, owners need Bluelink Plus and a vehicle equipped with Hyundai’s Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (CCNC), the wide, curved dual-screen display that houses both the digital instrument cluster and the infotainment touchscreen, which is also found in some off-road vehicles.

These themes are limited to the latest versions of the Tucson starting with the 2025 model year, Santa Fe from 2024 on, Santa Cruz from 2025 on, and Ioniq 5 from 2025 on. The company is they, and they have made this feature available on these models.

The 2023-and-newer Ioniq 6 can also download and use the themes, while the Ioniq 9 and Palisade are offering them beginning with the 2026 model year. It has been stated that original owners get Bluelink Plus Advanced at no extra cost for as long as they own the vehicle.

Hyundai has made the Display Themes feature available, and it is expected that more themes and features will be added to the Bluelink Store and Bluelink Plus in the near future. The company will likely expand its offerings, and the Hyundai team will continue to develop new features.

For more information on Hyundai’s Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (CCNC), visit the Hyundai website or consult the owner’s manual for your specific vehicle.
